Webflow is a mature hosted platform. Somnia is a local editor in development for people who want clean code on their own disk. They solve different problems, and this page tries to say so fairly.
Status. Somnia is in development. Only the Phase 0 browser prototype exists today. The native desktop app, the AI layer, framework support, the extension SDK and any download or purchase are not available yet.
The short version
Choose Webflow if you want a managed platform today. Watch Somnia if you want to edit local HTML and CSS visually and deploy anywhere, and you can wait for a product that does not exist yet.

When to stay with Webflow
Webflow is a strong choice for marketing sites that need hosting, a CMS and visual editing in one place, and for teams that want a managed platform. Somnia does not plan to replace that.

Is Somnia a no-code tool like Webflow?
No. Somnia is a visual editor that writes HTML and CSS you can read and edit. It does not include hosting or a CMS.
Can I export from Webflow into Somnia?
Exported static HTML and CSS can be opened in the prototype. There is no importer.
